After some careful introspection got me nowhere, I randomly realized, while playing video games, why I never get anything done with my creativity. The work is too slow. My ideas come like watching a movie. I see the scene as it happens, in real time. And at any given time, I can have two or three of these live action ideas flitting through my mind, competing for my attention. My fingers are far too slow to keep up. Even my mouth is far too slow to keep up, which can lead to jumbled confusion when I try to tell a story out loud. I keep thinking up neat characters that I want to draw... and then I keep not doing it. It's the same with my writing. My two main creative outlets, and I can never convince myself to get off of my butt and actually do them! Even though doing them doesn't actually require getting off of my butt! I'm not really sure what to do about it, though. Sad Neil is sad. Also, I just had trouble spelling my own first name... O.ô

I set this thing up, posted a few comments, and then plum forgot about it! I'm more of a writer than a drawer, but I've been thinking about drawing my characters from time to time. Perhaps (perhaps I say, no guarantees) they'll show up here.
