After some careful introspection got me nowhere, I randomly realized, while playing video games, why I never get anything done with my creativity.
The work is too slow.
My ideas come like watching a movie. I see the scene as it happens, in real time. And at any given time, I can have two or three of these live action ideas flitting through my mind, competing for my attention. My fingers are far too slow to keep up. Even my mouth is far too slow to keep up, which can lead to jumbled confusion when I try to tell a story out loud.
